I was born in Burkina Faso and grew up between Burkina Faso and the United States.
Over the years, returning home kept me connected to the country while also allowing me to experience two very different telecommunications environments.
In the United States, I became accustomed to mobile connectivity that felt relatively simple and predictable. In Burkina Faso, I became increasingly aware of how differently people manage airtime, data, pricing, and connectivity.
That contrast made me curious.
I began asking whether a different mobile model could offer customers greater value while working within Burkina Faso's existing telecommunications infrastructure.
That question eventually led me to the MVNO model and ultimately to NAFA.
